Our Board

TOM BUCHANAN, Chairman

Tom was born in Washington state where he now resides, with many travels and citations in between. His brilliant and concurrent careers as inventor and medical researcher continue in the role of Clarity’s President and Chief Scientific Officer. His research focuses on the expansion of product horizons. He chairs the Board with the authority of many years of experience and success in the field of rapid diagnostics.

DAVID WILLIAMS, ESQ

David recently relocated from Lake Tahoe to Bellevue, WA. He serves as chairman and CEO of Equity Management Group, which provides asset management, tax consulting and financing for EMG-Lakewater LLC. He is also director of iMergent. David is a CPA, with a J.D. in law and taxation from the McGeorge Law School. He has an MA in Engineering Finance and a BA in Biological Science with honors from Stanford University. The Board recognizes his invaluable personal and professional assistance to Clarity.

KRIS MITCHELL

Kris is a Portland, Oregon businesswoman, owner and principal broker of a successful real estate firm, as well as co-designer of The Works, which specializes in green new construction, and the rehabilitation of historic architecture. She brings 20 years of management skills to Clarity’s Board. Kris works to make the planet a healthy place for generations to come. “I believe that giving-forward is the key to getting back the best of what the world has to offer.”

MATT AUBRY

Matt lives in New York City, where he is Director of Development for YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities, responsible for raising millions of dollars to fund YAI’s charitable activities. Recipient of the Outstanding Scholarship Award from the National Association of Social Workers, his exceptional academic history and affinity for work of both social and political merit led to an 18 year career with YAI. Matt is known for his natural arbitration, balanced assessments, and breadth of interests.

CHUCK BUCHANAN

Raised in eastern Washington’s Palouse, Chuck is now an urban dweller, living and working in Seattle. He has 30 years of business experience with a career focus in health services, and currently serves as Grants /Clinical Research/ Contract Administration at Seattle’s renowned Swedish Medical Center. His education in Psychology and Accounting reflect his compassionate and precise nature, both things demonstrated in his long and generous history of contributions to CDx.

JOE BOSWELL

Joe Boswell, California-born resident of New Jersey, has a stellar career spanning pharmaceutical and medical devices to women’s healthcare. He is a in the position of Executive Vice President to Clarity, as well as a member of the Board. The company continues to prosper and develop under his natural leadership. His energy, work ethic, and indefatigable ability to inspire a team across the finish line are particularly valued by the Board.
